University of Minnesota Biocatalysis/Biodegradation Database Progress Report 93 - January 23, 2002 Thank you for your interest in the UM-BBD. If you wish to be removed from this mailing list or change your options, send a message to: [log in to unmask] with the word 'help' in the subject or body (don't include the quotes), and you will get back an email message with instructions. - Pathways for the biodegradation of 4-hydroxyacetophenone, o-nitrobenzoate, and methylarsonate have been added and the pathway for atrazine has been revised. The methylarsonate pathway was developed by a student in the 2001 Biocatalysis and Biodegradation class offered completely over the Internet. This pathway brings to eight the number of metal, metalloid and metal chelator pathways in the UM-BBD. A list of these is available. http://umbbd.ahc.umn.edu/hap/hap_map.html http://srs.ebi.ac.uk/srs6bin/cgi-bin/wgetz?-e+[upathway-id:'hap_map'] http://umbbd.ahc.umn.edu/onb/onb_map.html http://srs.ebi.ac.uk/srs6bin/cgi-bin/wgetz?-e+[upathway-id:'onb_map'] http://umbbd.ahc.umn.edu/mar/mar_map.html http://srs.ebi.ac.uk/srs6bin/cgi-bin/wgetz?-e+[upathway-id:'mar_map'] http://umbbd.ahc.umn.edu/atr/atr_map.html http://srs.ebi.ac.uk/srs6bin/cgi-bin/wgetz?-e+[upathway-id:'atr_map'] http://www.cbs.umn.edu/class/bioc/5309/idl/ http://umbbd.ahc.umn.edu/metals.html - On the Useful Internet Resources page, the link to Metabolic Pathway Minimaps at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland has been updated and the link to ERGO at Integrated Genomics, Inc. has been removed. http://umbbd.ahc.umn.edu/resources.html - The What's New page restarts; 2001 activities have been archived. http://umbbd.ahc.umn.edu/whatsnew.html If you have comments on any aspect of the UM-BBD, please let us know.
