Representatives from Phase 2 Technology, the Drupal architecture
consultant hired by OIT, spent two days on campus last week to gather
requirements, meet stake holders, and learn about the U's culture.

Among the groups they met with are:

  * UMContent users to learn about requirements for moving content to Drupal
  * Drupal users group to learn about requirements and ensure the
enterprise environment will be an attractive alternative to spinning
up VM's to host individual Drupal implementations
  * ULibraries to discuss how they can use the central Drupal environment
  * Enterprise Portal team so that content providers can enter content
into Drupal for their websites and have it appear in the new portal

Phase 2 technology will return to campus in two weeks for a preliminary
architecture review. Their work is expected to be complete within 4 to
6 weeks.
