Hello all,
It’s September, so fresh Web Standards meetings are upon us.
This year, meetings will be on the 3rd Friday of the month. They’ll run the
same format as last year: come at 11:30 for pizza and
socializing/networking, then at noon we’ll move into the discussion topic.
Here are the first two meetings of the year:
*Friday, September 17th*
Topic: Usability
Detail: Santiago Fernández-Giménez, from OneStop, will lead the discussion
on making sites at the U more usable for audiences.
Location: 325 - Education Sciences
*Friday, October 15th*
Topic: Authentication
Detail: Christopher Bongaarts, from OIT, will lead a discussion about
Shibboleth, and porting apps from CAH.
Location: 101 - Walter Library
PS: Sick of having to remember the when/where/what of Web Standards
meetings? Just use the Google Calendar!
