For anyone interested, I received an e-mail from Longtail video player 
yesterday about their newest version, 5.  Besides now being open source 
and having a better API, they now support skinning their player with a 
ZIP file.  For those who are not aware, the Longtail player is what 
Media Mill uses as its default player.

What makes this skinning option unique is it's ability to build the 
individual pieces outside of Flash.  Cool, right?  Just make a 
configuration XML file with links to the necessary images (PNG supported).
