The Varied Thrush was still present this morning (11:30 to 11:45), at the previous reported site (1220 East Main St.) feeding alongside one nuthatch and about 20 Pine Siskins. About 20 Starlings descended on the scene, spooking the Siskins away. The Varied Thrush made a few attempts to feed on the ground with the Starlings, but each time was chased away into the adjacent trees. After a few unsuccessful attempts to share the space with the Starlings, it flew south into another yard. I checked back this afternoon and did not relocate it.
