Guided the Moore's from Texas:

Highlights:

4 Spruce Grouse on Lake County Rd 2
* 1.5 miles south of Forest Rd 11/ CR 15 on Lake County Road 2. This is by the far the furthest south I ever encountered for this grouse species on Lake CR 2. We observed 3 males and 1 female gritting on the road at 7:20am.

Red Crossbills on Highway 1 east of Lake County Rd. 2. All the birds were gritting on the road in several spots.

American Three-toed Woodpecker on the Spruce Rd off Hwy. 1 ( east of Lake CR 2 ) This is the same bird that John Hockema & Dedrick Benz found in late December and the the same bird that Kim Eckert reported last week with his VENT group. I did not take mileage but its just east of Endless Waters Way road ( yellow gate ) on the Spruce Road at the bend where the road turns north.

Sax Zim Bog:

* I had a meeting in Meadowlands and took sometime after guiding to check out the Admiral Rd feeder: 2 Boreal Chickadees were feeding on the deer suet.

* Great Gray Owl: A owl was at the intersection of Correction Line Rd and Owl Avenue. This owl was seen at 5:40pm hunting in the open areas at this intersection.
