Today, on the way through Carlton County, I stopped at about 3:00 pm to observe a Northern Hawk Owl perched on a utility pole.  It was located along Hwy 73  at exactly mile marker 27, which I believe is just north of Cromwell, but I might be wrong about that.  Shawn Conrad
