Early am on 2/5/06, a Great Gray Owl was observed on the south side of
Aitkin County Rd 18 approximately 2-4 miles west of the junction of County
Rd 5 north of Palisade by Andy Paulios, Monica Fowlds and Christian Artuso.

Andy also spotted a female Hoary Redpoll with a flock of Commons at the
feeders at Rice Lake NWR, 5 miles south of McGregor.
