I was able to relocate the Blue Grosbeak originally reported by Bob Dunlap at 11:30 AM this morning at the gravel pits on 506th in Nicollet County. The bird was singing on the far side of the gravel pit from the road and then later flew into the trees right along side the road. Also present were a pair of Belted Kingfishers bringing small fish from the river to a burrow on the west side of the pit and many Lark Sparrows.
