I'll suggest that someone contact the Google powers-that-be at the U  
of M (whoever that is) and see if there is an inside line on getting  
Wave invites for this specific project (Web Standards Discussion or  
something). You might try a message out on Net People and see if  
someone contacts you privately or something.

Did anyone mention the TC Wave? Several of us are on it and can add  
others. There are about 200 members now so it's a good place to get a  
feel for what it's like to work with a wave.
