Early this afternoon I was able to observe the Varied Thrush in  
Nicollet County previously mentioned by Chad Heins. This bird is being  
seen at a residence between North Mankato and Judson along the Judson  
Bottom Road in the southern part of the county. The homeowners (Steve  
and Sara Meyer) welcome birders; if you would like to see this  
cooperative bird, please call them at 507-387-2752. Their address is  
41567 Judson Bottom Road.
