Had a chance over lunch hour to view the previously mentioned Varied Thrush
near Sherburne Refuge. It is a gorgeous male that spent nearly 15 minutes
in and around a feeder station.

I have address and directions for seriously interested parties, but will
probably limit the number of people shared with. This is a retired couple
from our church that's open to a few coming to see it (viewable from the
road).

County birds are always good, but when they come in such beautiful
packages....

PS Varied Thrush and Townsend's Solitaire(s) in same general area - should
we expect a Mountain Bluebird next? Welcome to western thrush central!
