The female Long-tailed Duck is still present this morning, close to the west (Dakota County) shore near the pumping station.

Subject: [mou-net] Long-tailed Duck, Ramsey Co.

This afternoon (Friday, 11 Dec., 2:30 p.m.), from the pedestrian
overpass at Grand and Hardman Ave. in South St. Paul, I watched a
female LTDU in the mostly frozen Mississippi River. I saw it only in
Ramsey Co. but the limited open water extended into Dakota Co. as well.
