One American Avocet just observed at the Eden Valley sewage ponds. Ponds are on north side of town east of hwy 22. Go east on Hutcheson, around the sewage ponds to the trap range, the avocet was in the east pond. Despite a fair amount of mud showing , the only other shorebird was a Red-necked Phalarope.
