Just got a call from Kim Eckert and the Black-crowned Night-heron that was
reported on the NW report last evening apparently was a juvenile
Yellow-crowned Night-heron. Location of today's sighting : Drive past the
casino towards the mouth of the river. To the left of the casino is a
campground with small body of water. As soon as you drive in take the first
right. The bird was at the pond there. It flew but Kim felt that it might
come back to that location.
