At 5:45 pm this evening while scanning the Gulls on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, Hennepin County I located 3 White-winged Scoters. One was an adult male, and all 3 grouped closely together flashed their white secondaries while they flapped their wings numerous times. I completely ignored the Gulls in favor of enjoying these migrating Sea Birds so close to home for a change.
