I arrived at about 5:20pm and met with a small group of birders, including
Joel Schmitt, Pete Hoeger, Chad Heins and two others whose names escape me.
None had seen the dove.

Milt Blomberg arrived too and together, we ended up staying til well past
sunset but we never got sight of it.

Plenty of walkers (some with dogs), joggers and cyclists interrupted our
area a number of times. All were oblivious the area we were focused on.

*Birds present were:*
*Dark-eyed juncos* ~ 20
*White-throated sparrow* - 1
*BC Chickadee*
*Am. Tree sparrows* reported by Chad Heins

Fly-by of* sharp-shinned hawk* twice was not all that welcome. Others said
it had been present earlier
Flyover of Gulls, Canada Goose, Red-tailed Hawk, Common Grackles, Am. Robin,
unidentified small, fast duck.
