Frank Gosiak and I checked out the larger lakes in NW Morrison County later this afternoon and found a juv. Pacific Loon on Fish Trap Lake. After an initial suspect sighting from SSW part of the lake from CR20, re-located it again from the West and from the North (on lakefront by a homeowner's permission). On the north side a walk into SNA & State Land penninsulas might get one closer to better viewing. Several Common Loons on all three lakes birded-Lake Alexander and Shamineau (having the most). mjb
