By Dave C's, sharp scoping, the several present were able to get clear sightings of the Barrow's Goldeneye Sat. March 5, ~10am.
It was in feeding mode downriver a bit from the Swan Park overview---through the overhanging tree branches. A fully plumaged male.
Prior to finding it, downriver along CR39, an open space offers good viewing of many Common Goldeneye. We also found
both Scaups there. Swan Park also had 3-4? Amer. Black Ducks, 1 male Pintail still present. mjb
