This morning there were at least 10 shorebird species along the western side of White Bear Lake. Most were at West Park/Memorial Beach (on Google maps it's White Bear Beach Park) including a beautiful breeding plumage Sanderling. This spot is where Lake Ave. becomes a one-way and turns to follow the lake.

I saw several more shorebirds south of there along Lake Ave., including the Wilson's Phalarope.
