The snowy owl SW of Sauk Centre in Stearns county was present this afternoon between 4 and 5 pm.  It was on the north side of 390th, sitting on a large dark colored boulder in a rock pile nearly directly across from the WPA parking area.  This was about one mile east of CR 26.
