This afternoon there was a dead Snowy Owl on the right hand shoulder of east bound Hwy 212 in Eden Prairie. The bird was between the East and North exits for 494. It looked like it would be in questionable condition for taxidermy. If my memory is correct, I believe a Snowy was reported from this area last winter.
