1. Call for Abstracts: ISHPSSB Off-Year Workshop, "What's New about
Systems Biology?" Arizona State University and the Institute for
Systems Biology, 16-17 August 2012. This workshop proposes to explore
the historical and philosophical foundations of Systems Biology by
opening a dialogue between practitioners of Systems Biology and
historians and philosophers of science. Travel support funding is
available. Deadline: 10 July 2012.

2. Funded MA: A sponsored MA student position in the philosophy of
biology is open in the Department of Philosophy at Concordia
University in Montreal, beginning September 2012. Funding is $17,000

3. Job: Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Logic and the Philosophy of
Science, Department of Philosophy, University of Calgary, starting 1
July 2013. The department seeks an established scholar and a leader in
any area of logic or the philosophy of science. Review of applications
begins 9 July 2012.

4. Conference: "Temps de la nature, nature du temps" / "The Time of
Nature, The Nature of Time," Bordeaux, France, 26-28 September 2012.
This international colloquium brings together philosophical approaches
to time with those employed in different scientific fields (including
