On Saturday, September 1, 2012 there was a snowy egret flying over the Otter Tail River north of Frazee, MN in Becker County. It was associating with a great egret. The pair circled overhead three times before flying north. Later, both birds were seen feeding on Trieglaff Lake, which is on private property and not viewable from any roadway. The snowy was still present on Sunday, September 2. Unsure if it is still around as I have not returned since 1300 hours on 9-2-12.
