Apologies for the lateness of this post.   Susan and I had a Northern Hawk
Owl in the Sax Zim bog on Saturday.  We first saw it at 1:10pm and it was
still there at 3:00pm when we left the area for Duluth.  We could not
locate a Great Gray, but had good looks at a small flock of BB Magpies as
well as Pine and Evening Grosbeaks.  We had Gray Jays, Rough-legged Hawk
and half a dozen Northern Shrikes.
