After seeing the recent reports of Boreal Owls near Grand Marais and Sax-Zim, I've been
prowling my neighborhood in Two Harbors and finally found one. One was hunting at dusk
from a telephone wire near 3rd Street and 2nd Avenue. I put a marginal photo on MOU's
Recently Seen page. If this bird behaves like most Boreal Owls, it will be tough to relocate.

No matter how hard I tried, I could not see it from my yard a half a block away.
