On Sunday I found a pair of Blue Grosbeaks along the Sioux Trail(Renville county 15) I first heard the male singing and stopped and a female showed up carrying food. I followed the female up the road and she was agitated but finally disappeared into a small bush on the hillside. The spot is about 100 yards west of where 200th street hits 15, this is about three miles west of where co15 intersects co 6.
I have had singing males in this area on several occasions but have not see females before. there are also singing Lark Sparrows in the vicinity.
