Just curious...Why is the Mute Swan not being aggressively controlled in Minnesota? Their aggressive behavior towards native waterfowl could become a real problem for our native waterfowl, already under severe stress due to diminishing habitat.

Subject: [mou-net] Mute swan at Baker Park, Maple Plain (Three Rivers Park District)

Staff at Baker Park Reserve have seen a mute swan cavorting with two trumpeters on a pond next to the road to the Near Wilderness Settlement. I have seen confirming photos. I'm not sure if it is there today.
