Shortly after 10 AM this morning, I was with Abrahm Simons and two other birders when we saw a Bald Eagle swoop down and fly off with the Black Scoter.

Other birds were a flock of 25 Trumpeter Swans, a couple hundred Common Mergansers, a few hundred Canada Geese, and 4 Bald Eagles total.  There is very little open water left.
