I got a phone call at 4:45 this afternoon about a Snowy Owl along CR1 
(Mayhew Lake Road) about 0.8 miles north of its intersection with CR29. 
This is just northeast of Sauk Rapids.  I was there within 15 minutes and 
found a heavily-spotted Snowy Owl sitting atop a powerline pole completely 
oblivious to the cars passing by.
