We drove by a Snowy Owl on a treetop at 4:40, just east of I-35 at mile marker 202 about 7 miles north of the exits for Sandstone and Banning State Park. It was a brief look as we were on the interstate but it gave an unmistakeable view of its white face and seemed heavily barred like a juvenile.
