I was able to re-find a Snowy Owl in Kandiyohi County late this afternoon on
CR28 a mile west of CR2 (N of Atwater). It was SW of the intersection of
CR28 and the road 1mi from CR2. Afterwards, I drove through the area of
130th & 255th (see below) but I did not see that owl (but I didn't spend a
lot of time there).
I also spotted a Snowy Owl in Stearns County that I don't believe had been
reported yet. It was on a power pole along US71 between Belgrade (Hwy55)
and Elrosa - just north of the intersection with CR175. The bird was close
to the MM152 sign where US71 bends north.

Subject: [mou-net] New snowy, Kandiyohi county
Though most of the snowy owls in Meeker and Kandiyohi counties appear to
have moved...or perished....yesterday, 1/22, Craig Radel found a new bird
about 6 miles NE of New London.
The bird was seen from 130th st. NE, looking west, south of the intersection
with 255th ave.
Though this location is only about a mile from a previous sighting,
yesterday's bird appeared to show much darker coloration, so is presumed
different.
