Hi Birders,

My wife and I spotted what is probably the same owl seen by Ron Taube and Vicky Wachtier this morning. I saw the bird from eastbound Hwy 10 at 2:15 this afternoon. We turned around to get in the westbound lane, turned north on Armstrong Blvd, east on Sunwood Dr and took a right at the round-about. There is a long open field running east of Coborn's and Subway. There are a couple of large electrical type boxes with a 25-30 foot pole next to them. The pole is about a half a block or so east of Coborn's. The owl was perched on the top of the pole. An almost pure white individual. We parked along the service road and watched it for a few minutes. Had we had the scope along we would probably have used the Subway parking lot.

That's a lifer for both of us!

Paul Gunderson
