I located a heavily-barred juvenile Snowy Owl in Maple Grove around mid-day today, Monday January 13. This is likely the same owl reported by others in this area recently.
Location: Intersection of Kirkwood Lane N and 82nd Avenue N. 
The owl was perched on a rock outcrop overlooking a large pond about 150 yards from the intersection.
