Just wanted to let folks know that my sister has been seeing the snowy owls near Bellechester (Goodhue Co) pretty much every day.
There appear to be three of them: 1 very heavily barred (first one she saw), 1 mostly white (second one), and 1 white with some barring.
She has seen them multiple times around 5:30 p.m. and, now with the clock change, at about 6:30 tonight.
They can be found mostly near CR 16 and CR 1 or in the southwest quadrant between the roads, with CR 4 (about 4 miles west of Bellechester) being the western edge.
They seem to like telephone poles on CR 1 before the first farm on the right (maybe 3rd or 4th pole). Tonight the very heavily barred one was back on a pole on CR 1 and then flew towards CR 16. Yesterday she saw the 3rd one (white with some barring) on CR 16 just a bit east of CR 4. This is about the same location that she saw the first, heavily barred owl.
Do these descriptions fit the three owls seen near Oak Center?
