While walking along the Park Point beach about 200 yards north of the
airport yesterday morning, I saw one Red Knot with in a mixed flock of 5
Ruddy Turnstones, 5 Semipalmated Plovers, several Sanderlings, 20+
Semipalmated Sandpipers, and 1 Dunlin. The birds were very tame, affording
great views from 20-30 feet.
