Four adults in alternate plumage, S side of Long Meadow Lake. Visible this evening
(9 Aug.) from several vantage points (beaver pond E of creek and overlook near W
end of Hogback Ridge pond). Distant; scope is necessary. Very few other
shorebirds were present despite good mud flats here and at the Old Cedar Ave.
bridge.
