Connie Jo and I saw two Eurasian Collared-doves in Long Prairie at about 6:30 pm today. They were located on the west side of 4th Street South just north of 2nd Avenue South. One was sitting on an electrical wire above the sidewalk near the large pine tree next to the blue house. We were able to walk beneath it before it flew to the branches of a large tree in the back yard, where it was joined by a second one. These were the first Eurasian Collared-doves that we have seen in Todd County.
