On Wednesday, John Holden and I drove up to the 180th Street Marsh near
Vermillion in Dakota County. We previously made two other attempts to see
the bird, but this time we were immediately successful. A likely juvenal
perched on a telephone line on 180th Street about a quarter mile west of
the marsh.  Photos are on my blog this morning:
