Tuesday at 1:00 and again at 4:30 pm I saw Approximately 350 swans on the river across from Shakopee, viewing from the Hennepin county side. Best seen from one of the two pull-outs on Flying Cloud drive between Eden Prairie road and 101. There is a mix of both Tundra and Trumpeter. Several duck species as well... Gadwall, shoveler, Scaup, teal, wood ducks. A scope is required for best viewing (I had binoculars). The clouds, rain and distance made it difficult to clearly identify all the ducks. But I was able to get photos of the swans and there are definitely Tundra swans in the mix.
