Call for Papers: The University at Albany Philosophical Association
will hold its 13th Annual Graduate Conference on 4 April 2019. This
year's topic is the philosophy of biology, and the keynote speaker is
Justin Garson (Hunter College). Deadline: 5 January 2019.

Doctoral Studentships: The Department of History and Philosophy of
Science (HPS), University of Cambridge, invites applications for
three-year doctoral studentships to start in October 2020. They seek
outstanding candidates whose research will explore the history of 20th
and 21st century agriculture, particularly with respect to plant
exploration and the conservation of crop diversity. Deadline: 3
December 2019.

Postdocs: The mission of the 3-year Penn Postdoctoral Training Program
in the Ethical, Legal and Social Implications (ELSI) of Genetics and
Genomics, supported by a training grant from the National Human Genome
Research Institute, is to prepare young scholars for success as
creative, independent investigators in the field of ELSI research.
Prior experience in bioethics is not required. Applicants must be U.S.
citizens or permanent residents. Deadline: 10 December 2019.
