     JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

     The Office of Analysis and Evaluation of the Food and Nutrition
     Service (FNS), USDA has several vacancies for policy researchers
     with knowledge and/or experience using basic and advanced
     statistics including inferential and descriptive statistics in
     order to design, monitor, and conduct research activities and to
     review implications of research findings for FNS policies.   FNS
     administers the nation's major food assistance programs including
     the Food Stamp Program, the School Lunch Program and the WIC
     Program.  The jobs are located in Alexandria, Virginia about 4
     miles from downtown Washington, D.C.   The salary range is
     $47,066 - $72,758 per year.  The Office employs policy analysts
     and researchers representing a wide range of academic
