Hello AMSA!

In honor of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (November 14-20,
2010), zAmya is coming to the U! zAmya is a performance group made up of
currently, formerly, and never/not yet homeless individuals. This is a FREE
and short event, and looks to be incredible! Look below (or to the
attachment) for the details on the performance.

Useless fact of the day: "Almost" is the longest word in the English
language with all letters in alphabetical order. And "rhythm" is the
longest word without any vowels.

Happy Tuesday!

November 14th to 20th is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. So
who are the homeless? Do you know them? What do they look like? Don't know
the answers? Get schooled in homelessness- join the zAmya Theater Project, a
program of St. Stephen's Human Services, in *Homeroom*, their seventh annual
roadshow production.

*Homeroom* sends us all back to class in an unusual school where the topic
of study is homelessness, students and teachers may burst into song, and
everyone will be taking the test-even the audience.

Comprised of scenes written by the cast and directed by zAmya Artistic
Director Maren Ward, *Homeroom* takes place in a fictitious school, but each
character and story is based in reality. Get ready to raise your hand, and
your voice, as we call on you to continue the zAmya tradition of community
dialogue at any of five FREE public performances:
