I am guessing it is an incompatibility between programs. I encountered the same problem when I designed a page in Dreamweaver CS5 and the user trying to make the change had Contribute CS4. The only real solution that ended up working was to update to Contribute CS5.

Hope that helps,
Kristin

Is anyone using Adobe Contribute?  I've created templates in DW CS5 and have Contribute CS5 installed.  The editable regions work fine for me but when someone tries to place a link in CS4 it gives them this error, "You cannot perform this action in this region of the page."  Any ideas?
