The Request for Proposals (RFP) process for the University’s implementation of the Drupal web content management system (CMS) is now complete.
After issuing the RFP to more than 800 vendors, reviewing proposals and interviewing and completing a thorough RFP process that included representatives from multiple stakeholders, the University has signed a contract with Palantir, to develop the University's enterprise Drupal environment.
Palantir will be on campus during the week of Sept. 2 to meet with various stakeholders. During their visit, there will be a meeting open to the campus community to provide a more detailed update on the project status. The meeting is scheduled for 1–2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, in Walter Library 402, and also will be available online for those unable to attend in person at https://umconnect.umn.edu/drupal.
In addition, the RFP included a search for a hosting provider. We are in the final stages of negotiating the contract with a hosting provider, and more information will be shared as soon as it is available.
