The Chronicle of Higher Education is sponsoring an online discussion this
week about "Defenders of the Truth: The Battle
for Science in the Sociobiology Debate and Beyond," by Ullica Segerstrale
(Oxford University Press). The discussion will
examine the 25-year-old debate about the evolutionary basis of human
behavior, and Ms. Segerstrale's analysis of what
that debate says about science. The Chronicle invites members of this list
