Ph.D. in Philosophy prior to appointment and evidence of quality research and teaching potential/experience are required. Candidates must provide evidence of 1) potential for interaction with colleagues and projects in the biological, physical, social, linguistic, or cognitive sciences, and evidence (appropriate to the candidate's level of experience) of a history of such interaction; 2) scholarly excellence in philosophy; and 3) teaching competence in philosophy of science.
