2. The Department of History of the George Washington University
seeks a tenure track assistant professor of the history of recent
science beginning September 1, 2004.  Consideration of applications
will begin on November 15, 2003.

3. The Department of History at Lancaster University is advertising
two professorial chairs and three lectureships. The field for the
chairs is completely open and historians of science, technology and
medicine are warmly welcome to apply.  The field for the lectureships
will be decided in light of the professorial appointments.  Deadline
for applications is November 14, 2003.

4. Michigan State University invites applications for a full-time,
tenure-track position as an assistant professor beginning fall 2004
in the Lyman Briggs School (LBS), an undergraduate, residential
science and liberal arts program in the College of Natural Science.
