1. Graduate students in the United States and Canada are invited to enter the Shryock Medal Essay Contest. The award is given for an outstanding, unpublished essay by a single author on any topic in the history of medicine. 2. The Department of Philosophy at the University of Guelph invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position to start 1 July 2005 at the rank of Assistant Professor. The Consortium for Science, Policy, and Outcomes (CSPO) at Arizona State University (ASU) seeks to fill a new, tenure-track faculty position in the general field of science, technology, and society available for August 2005.
