* [PROBE-USERS] Electron backscattering coefficient

Hi Jens,

many Monte Carlo programs can calculate backscatter coefficients, or backscatter yields.

I have a program from David Joy and it gives backscatter yield. The defaults are all pure elements.

There is are programs free on the web eg CASINO from Raynald GAUVIN.
http://www.gel.usherbrooke.ca/casino/index.html

I'm pretty sure it is free to download and it should do backscatter yield for complex materials.

I recall you can make multi-layers of multi-element materials.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,

Ron

Dear all.

Do anybody have a method of calculating the electron backscattering
coefficients of complex minerals?

Cheers, Jens.
